Technoroid, a multimedia project by Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, Elements Garden, CyberAgent, and Avex Pictures already took off with the release of the mobile game Technoroid Unison Heart. And there is still much more to expect from the franchise.
On Monday, the official website for the Technoroid franchise revealed the exact release date of the anime series. The anime, titled Technoroid Overmind, will be broadcast on January 4, 2023, on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka.
Multiple streaming services like Abema, DMM TV, and Amazon Prime Video will also stream the animated series.
Originally set for a July 2022 release, the date was eventually postponed because the production studio, Doga Kobo, was closed temporarily. Multiple staff members were diagnosed with Covid-19 at the time.
The world of Technoroid is set in an era where climate change has finally taken its toll and the majority of the land is now underwater. Musical groups emerge, to move the hearts of humans and androids, as they compete to get to the top of Babel, the entertainment tower.
The staff and cast for the anime series were announced quite a while ago. Now that the anime will be released soon, let’s acquaint you with the characters once again:

Technoroid is a multimedia project by Noriyasu Agematsu in collaboration with Elements Garden and RUCCA. It comprises an anime titled TECHNOROID OVERMIND, a smartphone game called Technoroid Unison Heart, music, and a manga series.
