Takagi-san and Nishikata are on a new summer adventure involving a cute little four-legged friend. However, that doesn’t mean that the Teasing Master Takagi-san will put a pause on her antics.
The franchise’s first anime film made its Japanese premiere back in June. After looking at its success, fans outside Japan became even more excited, and I’m glad our wait is finally over.
Sentai Filmworks has revealed that Teasing Master Takagi-san: The Movie will make its U.S. debut in August 2022. The movie will screen in select theaters on August 14-15, and you can pre-book your tickets on the official website.
If you were looking for the perfect summer film with a hint of nostalgia, this is the one you should go for. The plot follows Takagi and Nishikata finding a lost kitten and taking care of it until they find its mother.
The story is pretty simple, but the summertime views and the pair’s chemistry give it the charm to stand out. Moreover, let’s not forget their cute little furry friend, whom we all have grown to love just by looking at the trailers.
Caring for this kitten together will definitely bring Takagi and Nishikata closer than ever. Who knows, we might even get a confession this time.
At the same time, I don’t want the film to end with a confession because that would be a cliche. Instead, Takagi-san pulling a cute and harmless prank on Nishikata sounds like a much better conclusion.
With the same cheekiness as the anime series, Takagi and Nishikata won hearts in this one.
I suggest you all go straight to their website and get your tickets.
