Episode 6 Recap
This episode starts with the preparation in full swing for the culture festival.
Class 2-2 prepares for Romiya and Juliot show, with everyone helping set up the program. As the students practice the scenes, Takagi enters in her princess costume.
Nishikata blushes with the sight and forgets half his lines, making Yukari annoyed. Later as things are set, Nishikata tells Takagi to meet him on the roof.
When Nishikata goes to the roof, he realizes Takagi might think he will ask her out for the culture festival and starts panicking.
Since he planned to practice the play lines with her, he tries to state it directly instead of giving the wrong impression. As Nishikata gets to the roof, he nervously tries to speak. Before Nishikata could say anything, Takagi tries to say something.
Nishikata thinks Takagi will ask him out, and he gets all flustered. Takagi then reveals she wants to practice the line from the play as the promise he made to her.
She finds it funny that Nishikata forgot what he wanted to say and feels she had hoped for something else for a moment.
As the culture festival begins, the school is lively with people attending the festival. With many stalls and creative items made by the students, the day goes by with fun and laughter.
The play gets in process, and the audience is watching with anticipation.
As the show gets to the end, Kimura gets a sour stomach and makes Nishikata handle the prince’s character. When Takagi enacts the final line, she accidentally trips, but Nishikata appears as the prince and catches her.
Everyone is astounded by the act, and Takagi smiles when she sees Nishikata as the prince. They both wing the final scene and make the play a success. Afterward, the class celebrates the success of the play with a party.
Nishikata still has jitters from that stunt, but Takagi cherishes every moment. Nishikata asks Takagi about a line with “spring day” out of confusion. Since he thinks the characters met during fall, he wondered why she said spring.
Takagi replies, “It was spring when we met each other.” Nishikata realizes the ‘we’ Takagi used in her statement references them and blushes over the fact.
