Teasing Master Takagi-san is a pretty wholesome and fun anime to watch as Nishikata gets teased by Takagi. That was the most indirect and adorable confession I’ve seen. Like the fans, I’m happy about the outcome of this anime.
The flow of the whole episode was just beautiful to watch. Nishikata came through after Kimura showed him the book. With the feelings of the cute duo expressed in the finale, will we get to see more of this couple with a new season?
Whatever the case may be, there’s a new movie for Teasing Master Takagi-san, which will be out in June. Many fans are excited for the movie since it could be an epilogue to the series, hinting at what might come after season 3.

Episode 12 Recap
This episode starts with Nishikata finding that he also has to confess because Hamaguchi’s scared to confess alone. Later as Nishikata and Takagi walk back home, Takagi gets suspicions that Nishikata has something he’s been thinking about that he might like.
With the talk, Nishikata thinks more about how he gets annoyed when Takagi teases him, but he also finds her company cute. This fact makes Nishikata wonder if he has feelings for Takagi. Afterward, Nishikata knows on White Day saying the L-word is out of the question.
With his thoughts occupied on the confession, Nishikata blames Hamaguchi and Takagi. Trying to keep it together, Nishikata plans to defeat Takagi in a contest on White Day. The following day, Nishikata knows his contest will be tough for Takagi to solve and calls it the ‘Nishikata Quest.’
However, Takagi says she will be late on White Day as she’s attending a wedding. When the day arrived, Nishikata kept his riddles around the school so Takagi would solve them. Sadly, he finds out that Takagi will get to school the next day due to bad weather.
Meanwhile, Nishikata meets Kimura, who returns a book that Takagi once read before at library duty. Nishikata realizes the line Takagi said from the book earlier doesn’t suit the story. Later, as Nishikata brushes through the book, he wonders why she said the words then.
It then hits him that there were times Takagi showed her honest feelings apart from the teasing. Nishikata quickly goes with his gift to the ferry station where Takagi will reach soon. When he arrives at the station, he finds Takagi leaving in a car.
Nishikata chases after the car and trips a few times as the vehicle drives further away. However, Takagi notices a familiar person as the car reaches a bend while looking out the window. She then gets off and heads back, knowing she saw Nishikata running.
As she finds Nishikata, Takagi feels happy and runs towards him. Takagi finds out that Nishikata wanted to see her, which makes Takagi realize it shows his true feelings. Nishikata then gives Takagi the gift but says the gift is ruined due to his falls, and he couldn’t return the favor.
Takagi, filled with joy, says he’s already returned it by expressing his feelings. With the cherry blossom leaves falling around, Nishikata and Takagi come to the realization that they like each other.
