The iDOLM@STER franchise has come a long way as an idol multimedia project. With several games, anime, manga, and more, no one can ignore it anymore. The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls U149 is arriving soon as an anime.
With that said, another project is in development and is planned for release next year.
On Monday, the official YouTube channel for The iDOLM@STER live-streamed a video, commemorating five years of the game The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors. It was announced that the game will inspire an anime series that is planned for Spring 2024.
The teaser above merely shows anything. But we can see the office of 283 Production and the first look of Mano Sakuragi. The video later shows the teaser visual featuring Mano.
In addition to this, a small idol dance video was also released, featuring sixteen characters from the anime. The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors will run for 12 episodes.
Although the anime will premiere next year, a pre-screening will be held in 75 theaters across Japan where the episodes will premiere in three parts. The release dates for each part are October 27, November 24, and January 5 respectively.
Mankyū will direct the anime series with Polygon Pictures as the producing studio. Yoichi Kato will write the scripts. Ryōhei Fukushi will design the characters and Lantis will compose the music.
So many anime projects, with two of them arriving this year, 2023 is going to be a great year for iDOLM@STER fans.
