Ubisoft devs announce Team Deathmatch coming to XDefiant before Season One

The highly requested Team Deathmatch mode is finally coming to XDefiant. The developers at Ubisoft gave in to the numerous requests diligently made by fans. The announcement has set the community ablaze as players are beyond thrilled for the upcoming update. What’s even more exciting is that Team Deathmatch will make its debut before Season One begins!

Team Deathmatch is coming to XDefiant on June 21st, 2024 at 10am PT. It is just like the gameplay mode featured in other games, focusing mostly on who can rack up more kills.

As soon as the update is available, players can start playing Team Deathmatch. It will be interesting to see how XDefiant incorporates Factions into the gameplay mode. There are bound to be a few differences than the usual 5v5 format. 

The developers will release more details about Team Deathmatch in XDefiant soon. However, it is expected to be limited since it is essentially a trial run. If the game mode is well-received by the community, it will turn into a permanent element in XDefiant.

About XDefiant

XDefiant is a free-to-play, fast-paced arena shooter that combines intense gunplay with personalized loadouts and specialized factions, as teams of gunfighters battle for domination.

Being developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, this game is having a strong set of 13 maps and 4 game modes, as announced yet. It has drawn heavy inspiration from other Ubisoft titles like Far Cry 6.
