Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author and creator of Chainsaw Man manga series often uses his Twitter account to promote the new anime. Recently, his account was banned from the site.
On his Twitter account, Fujimoto pretends to be his fictional younger sister “Koharu Nagayama.” On his account, he took on the persona of a third-year elementary school student who gives live remarks clarifying topics of interest in the anime.
This persona that Fujimoto has taken on is fictitious and not based on a real person. However, Fujimoto could not keep up tweeting as his persona as his account was disabled due to age restrictions on the platform.
Since his persona was a child, the age mentioned on his account was that of a minor under the age of 13, which goes against the platform’s terms of use.
The Chainsaw Man Editor Tweeted about this issue saying:
I have been informed that the account of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s younger sister, Koharu-chan, has been deactivated due to problems with her registered age. Her brother, the author, has already contacted Twitter to resolve the situation. Ladies and gentlemen, we’d appreciate it if you can wait for her sister’s return to Twitter. Thank you very much.
Following this ban of Fujimoto’s “younger sister’s” account, the author has officially opened a new Twitter account. The new username the author is using is @ashitaka_eva and it has been confirmed as an authentic account by the Chainsaw Man manga Editor himself.
