The episode follows Alpha, known then as Dee, as she tries to protect her daughter Lydia on the community yacht they live in post-apocalypse, but grows jealous of another resident, Brooke, who Lydia appears to like and trust more.

Episode 4 will follow a naturalist who studies walkers encountering a spirited settler in a nature documentary that is set in the “dead sector.”
Unlikely respect is earned between the two, as the “settler” tries to argue in favor of people taking back the land from the dead.

5. Episode 3 Recap
Dee and Lydia reside at Brooke’s yacht in the swamp, but Dee is sure that the dead will find them here and attack. Lydia is more attached to Brooke than she is to her mother, which raises feelings of jealousy and protectiveness in Lydia.
Mr. Langston goes missing, and Dee suspects Billy. She finds him trying to signal someone on the shore, but before she can catch him, he throws the mirror into the swamp. When she accuses him in front of Brooke and the other community members, Billy jumps into the swamp, claiming that Dee wants to kill him.
Dee has previously murdered her father and husband without any remorse, and Lydia has come to fear her. Brooke confronts Dee, but their conversation gets interrupted by Billy and his crew, threatening to kill the members of the community and take their place instead.
Dee escapes with Lydia, the mother-daughter duo barely escaping being eaten by the Walkers. Dee tries to teach Lydia to be brave in this apocalyptic world. But seeing her merciful side towards Brooke and the Walkers, Dee realizes that her daughter is not someone who can survive in this miserable world.
Dee steels herself to free Lydia from this wretched existence when suddenly a group of Walkers emerges, but to Dee’s surprise, they seem to be whispering to her. When she asks, “Who are you?” the human takes off the walker mask and thus ends the origin story of the Alpha.

Tales of the Walking Dead is an anthology TV series created by Scott M Gimple and Channing Powell, set as a spin-off series to The Walking Dead. It is the fourth television series within the franchise.
It contains six independent stories that will explore different timelines and historic events in the TWD universe.
The cast includes TWD original actor Samantha Morton, and newcomers, Olivia Munn, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Anthony Edwards, Poppy Liu, Embeth Davidtz, Jessie T Usher, Daniella Pineda, and Danny Ramirez among others.
