The Tales series is one of the most beloved game universes, and its fan following is proof of that. Given its popularity, any new updates from the franchise create chaos on another level.
While all of its installments are equally phenomenal, Tales of Symphonia stands out even among them. The game is now returning in a remastered form with some fantastic updates, which we can’t wait to experience.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed a new trailer for ‘Tales of Symphonia Remastered,’ confirming its release on February 17, 2023. The trailer is available in English and Japanese and gives us a peek into the game’s new version.
It begins with an anime-like sequence featuring the protagonist Lloyd Irving in action. The video shows various scenes from the game and its gameplay.
As revealed at the end of the trailer, the game will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S. However, the Bandai Namco store has still listed the game’s release for the consoles on March 31.
Besides action, the trailer gives us scenes with Llyod and Colette Brunel having a pleasant conversation over coffee about charms and magic. We also get an inspiring speech by Llyod about protecting others and their priorities.
The bits of gameplay shown in the video suggests that the plot will remain the same and that only the graphics have been updated. I love how they focused on the visuals and quality because the story was already great.
I’m really excited to see how the remastered version turns out, as my expectations are already high after looking at the trailer.
