Season 3 of Superman & Lois just went on a two-week hiatus, but not before giving its audience some noteworthy surprises! Not only Bruno & Peia’s secret is out in front of their son, but now their crimes might set up Lex Luthor’s entry in the show. And after last season’s premature defeat of Bizarro, the Inverse Superman will surely return in season 3!
Kyle had allowed Jonathan to work at the fire station, so the kid won’t feel left out, but Jordan aims to ruin even that. When a fire breaks out, and Kyle instructs Jonathan to stay in his position, Jordan saves a victim and plumps him near his brother, and Kyle chews Jonathan out.
Sarah resolves the fight between the twins later, but I feel for Jonathan. It can’t be easy being the only Kent boy without powers, and I hope this season will be the point where his powers kick in. Jordan apologized for now, but the brothers might have more fights if Jonathan doesn’t get his powers soon.
Meanwhile, Sam tries to dig up dirt on Manheim and uncovers something highly implicating. Turns out Bruno had promised Peia to fix the Suicide Slums, and she, in exchange, had used her powers to kill Boss Moxie, Bruno’s father, and his loyalists. You know what that means? Lex Luthor, who was arrested for Moxie’s murder, might walk free!
John learns that Manheim is meeting his doppelganger at the restaurant where Natalie has her date with Matteo and his parents, and he rushes there. He fights the duo, and Peia faints from the extended use of her powers, Superman flying her to the D.O.D.
Lois is worried about Sam’s reveal of Bruno’s secret and how they might have wrongly indicted Lex Luthor, and John orders Natalie to stay away from Matteo. Peia’s situation is undoubtedly raising compassion in Superman’s heart, and the next episode will definitely address that and how the Kents will proceed with this new development.
Manheim has been working on reviving Bizarro since they unearthed his body after Superman defeated his doppelganger last season. Bruno will definitely unleash the superpowered alien on Superman and the DOD to ensure Peia returns to him, so we can expect a fight between the two Kryptonians.
In the next episode, Louis confides in Lana about her worsening battle with cancer and her worries about Bruno and Lex, while John and Superman bicker over how to handle Manheim. Jonathan, Jordan, and Sarah work together to bust Natalie for her to visit Matteo secretly, but will that give Bruno an added advantage over the Kents?
