With only two more episodes left for what could be the end of Superman & Lois, the emotional stakes in this week’s episode were high. With Lois being rolled into her double mastectomy, Jordan’s new powers kicking in, Peia losing all control, and the looming danger of an old risen enemy, the season finale is shaping up nicely.
By the end of the episode, all the cards were played –the Manheims were out for the count, Lois seemed awake and seemingly out of danger, Kyle & Chrissy made up, and Jordan got a grip on his X-ray vision. Although was this the end of the “complications” in season 3 of Superman & Lois?
1. Episode 12 Synopsis/Speculation
While no official synopsis for the next episode has been released, the end of the last episode gives us some clues as to what to expect from the penultimate episode of season 3 of Superman & Lois.
Peia’s threat may have met an emotional end, with the Manheims backing off peacefully after their broken ending, but it’s not the end of the troubles for the Kent family.
While Lois is out of the woods for now, we still don’t know if the surgery was a success or just a temporary relief. Given that we’re left with two episodes before season 3 wraps up, I’m open to expecting some twist in that plotline.
Speaking of a twist, we saw Bizarro’s awakening coming since Bruno revealed he’s keeping him to save Peia. However, the Inverse Superman being the main enemy for the potential final episodes of the series seems like justice for the antagonist.
The next episode, “Injustice,” will show us how Bizarro will wreak havoc on a recovering Metropolis and how Clark and the Kents will deal with him. We’ll also see how Kyle will keep Superman’s secret, whether Sarah and Jordan can patch up or not, fate of Natalie & Matteo’s romance, and whether Jonathan will finally get his powers or not.
2. Episode 12 Release Date
Episode 12 of Superman & Lois Season 3, titled “Injustice,” will release on June 20, 2023, at 5 P.M. PDT, returning after a two-week hiatus.

5. Episode 11 Recap
Lois spends some downtime with her family and friends before her big surgery while the Manheims prepare to free Metropolis. However, Peia’s condition worsens as she sends tremors through the city.
Kyle fights with Chrissy after learning Clark’s secret identity and helps Lana console their daughter about her spat with Jordan. Before Lois can go into surgery, Jordan’s X-ray vision kicks in, and he watches over the surgery while Clark goes to his Superman duties to save the city from a deteriorating Peia.
Natalie and Matteo resolve their matters, and Peia runs away from Bruno lest she hurt her husband. Clark finds her and urges her to let him help her save the city and her family. He flies her to a higher altitude, where she sends out her last sonic waves, asking Superman to give her family her love.
Bruno makes a deal with John and the DOD to provide them with everything they need on the condition that Matteo’s charges are dropped. John agrees on this, and Kyle and Chrissy make up after the former apologizes to her.
Lois wakes and returns to recover after her double mastectomy, while somewhere in Bruno’ lab, an unstable Bizarro wakes.

Superman and Lois is an American superhero drama television series developed by Todd Helbing and Greg Berlanti for The CW. It is based on the DC Comics characters Superman and Lois Lane.
