Dragon Ball Heroes started as a promotional anime based on the Japanese digital card game of the same title. Its first episode came out on March 5. The first episode served as the intro to the Time Patrol Arc.
It became necessary for “anime-only” fans since the episode contained references from manga, to set up the foundation for the new arc.
Initially, the series only planned 7 episodes but as of today has a total of 22 episodes and growing. While fans are hooked up for the battle of gods, the franchise is not stepping back from delivering new episodes amidst this lockdown.
Recently, Dragon Ball Heroes Tweeted that the next episode, episode 3 will drop on May 22.

The synopsis hints at the appearance of ‘Dr W.’ We last saw him in the Dragon Ball Z film, The World’s Strongest.
Thanks to Fu’s weird experiments and the Xeno alternate universe, the new series is offering a ton of villains. Super Dragon Ball Heroes has also never been shy when using characters from the movies.
Dragon Ball Super
Dragon Ball Super came into serialization in June 2015, edited and illustrated by Akira Toriyama and his protege Toyotaru, respectively.
Dragon Ball Super takes the DB universe to another level by introducing the long asleep God of Destruction, Beerus.
Beerus initially decides to decimate Earth but postpones his plans when he discovers the fantastic food he had never eaten and hopes to fight Super Saiyajin God one day.
