Logan Roy

Especially given that the episode is constantly alluding to Kendall’s weakening resolve starting with news from the DOJ that his case against Royco “overpromised”. Then there was the whole backing out on his anti-fragility stunts as Resurrected Jesus for his birthday. Not to mention his meltdown after failing to receive the handmade birthday gift from his kids. Another breakdown in the cards?

Almost all Roy siblings aren’t doing so well in Episode 7. Shiv cuts loose on the dance floor after finding out she was being sidelined by her father and brother. Roman is acting like an A-class d*ck for suggesting the Roy family’s women, mostly Shiv, can now rest as the men were back in control. She is also shocked to find out Roman had been harassing Kendall’s kids to get back at him.

There is almost a win for Roman after he bags a deal with Lukas Matsson, CEO of streaming platform GoJo that Logan wants to buy. But in the teaser, we see Gerri worriedly declaring that the GoJo prices were going up. Will the deal fall through?

As for the eldest, Connor declares a political breakthrough with 1% support as he walks in with an overcoat to hide his broken arm. He has a fall while celebrating the win.

Succession Season 3 Episode 7 Recap

Kendall is micro-managing every detail of his lavish birthday party. He’s even planned an elaborate performance where he sings a Billy Joel song. Shiv, Roman, and Tom head to Logan’s office where the rest of the team is already waiting for them with champagne glasses in their hands.

Kendall Roy

Gerri tells them that she just spoke to a contact who has connections at the DOJ and it’s most likely that they’re looking at a settlement and no jail time for anyone. Tom is ecstatic after hearing this and celebrates by turning Greg’s office upside down and giving him a kiss on the forehead. Later that day, the GoJo deal doesn’t go as planned and Logan sends Shiv and Roman to Kendall’s party to speak to Matsson, who will be in attendance.

The siblings arrive at Kendall’s birthday party and he seems touched that they cared enough to attend. He later realizes that they’re only there to make progress on the GoJo deal and starts to feel more upset as the night progresses.

Roman is able to sneak into the VIP lounge and convinces Matsson to speak to their father directly about the GoJo deal. The night ends with Roman shoving Ken to the ground as the latter is ready to leave the party.

The episode ends with a cocky Roman calling his dad to share the good news before telling Logan he was the only kid and that the rest can be killed off.
