The romantic comedy anime ‘Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil’ follows Masatora Akutsu, a demon who traveled to the human realm in quest of “idols” for the corrupt demons. He meets Lily Amane, a potential idol, and invites her to join him.
However, Lily turns out to be an angel, the natural adversary of the demons, and while Akutsu tries to corrupt Lily, she decides to rehabilitate Akutsu for her own selfish goals.
On Wednesday, Kadokawa released the teaser visual and promotional video for Sawayoshi Azuma’s Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru (Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil) television anime. The video announces the main cast, staff, and the anime’s 2024 release date.
The anime’s fresh new teaser trailer provides us with a look at Akutusu and Amane’s relationship and how Amane’s appearance does not match the cynical personality she hides.
The anime’s main cast includes Yūma Uchida as Masatora Akutsu, a demon who has come to the human world in search of an idol for demons, and Ayane Sakura as Lily Amane, a pretty girl liked by everyone and a school idol who is actually an angel.

Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sawayoshi Azuma.
The plot revolves around Akutsu Masatora, a demon that has entered a human high school. His purpose is to discover people to help Hell battle its natural foes, the angels of Heaven. Akutsu is assigned a seat next to Lily Amane, another student who recently transferred here, he falls for her attractiveness, and decides to recruit her to his cause.
Since Lily is an angel, there is more to her than meets the eye, and Akutsu discovers that he is helping one of the same foes that he is meant to vanquish.
