Matoba’s ‘Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included’ will feel familiar to fans of light-comedic romance titles, with a young man placed into a precarious situation through a mysterious visitor, in this case, an angel who lacks basic social skills but is keen to please.
Some admittedly avoid the series because of the generic plot, but if you are looking for a relaxing read that will lighten your mood, ‘Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included’ is an ideal evening deviation.
On Wednesday, a website opened to announce that a television anime of Matoba’s Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included (One Room, Hi Atari Futsū, Tenshi Tsuki.) manga has been green-lit.
The new trailer for the series depicts the relationship between Tarō Tokumitsu and Towa, who take care of him.
The main cast members are Shūichirō Umeda as Tarō Tokumitsu and Hikaru Tohno as Towa.
Furthermore, the main staff behind the scenes are as follows:
Position | Staff | Other Works |
Director | Kenta Onishi | The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter |
Series Scripts | Shogo Yasukawa | Food Wars! |
Character Designer | Yuya Uetake | The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter |
Music | Shunsuke Takizawa | My Girlfriend is Shobitch |
The manga launched in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine on September 12, 2020, and Square Enix will publish the sixth manga volume on October 12. Yen Press published the third volume on August 22.
‘Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included’ is a charming rom-com that provides some much-needed escape. It may be a little predictable and simple.
And not all romance manga needs to reinvent or push the genre in new directions—sometimes it simply needs to strike the right notes and keep the audience engaged.
