The Lollapalooza music festival will take place on July 29-August 1 in Chicago’s Grant Park. In-person audience is allowed, however, those who cannot/do not want to attend physically, can still watch it live on Hulu.
After taking a break in 2021 due to the pandemic, Lollapalooza will be returning with some big-name headliners: Miley Cyrus, Tyler, the Creator, Post Malone and Foo Fighters.
Fans who will be physically attending will be required to present proof of vaccination or wear a mask along with a negative Covid-19 test.
Those who cannot make it to Chicago, or rather would yet not risk mingling in crowds, can still catch the music festival for free on Hulu. Click here to view the lineup.
If you’re already a Hulu subscriber, all you need to do is log in. To note: Livestreams will depend and vary according to your time zone. New acts in the livestream are still being updated. Lastly, subscribers will not be able to “re-watch” the livestream once it is done, so make sure to catch your favorite musical acts when they’re live!
Lollapalooza is ditching live streaming the event on YouTube, as they did in the years gone by. It is yet to be seen how this partnership with Hulu pays off.
Those who don’t yet have a Hulu subscription and would love to stream the Hulu-exclusive Lollapalooza, can try out their one-month free trial.
Other acts to look forward to: MAX, Steve Aoki, Aly & AJ, Black Pumas, Young the Giant, JPEGMAFIA, Young Thug and more.
About Lollapalooza
One of the largest and most iconic music festivals in the world, Lollapalooza started off as Perry Farrell’s farewell tour in 1991. The festival is named after the American idiomatic phrase that means an impressive, extraordinary or unusual person or thing.
The touring event eventually transitioned into the 4-day music festival we know it to be today. Held annually at Grant Park, Chicago, it encompasses acts from many genres, notably alternative rock, heavy metal, hip hop and electronic music.
