Chairman of Toei Animations Dies At 71

Toei Animation, the studio behind anime like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Sailor Moon, & more, has just lost its chairman.
The Toei group specializes in film, video, series distribution & production, & games development.
Yusuke Okada, the chairman, died at 71 years old on 18th November 2020. His death was due to an aortic dissection.
Before joining Toei in 1988, Yusuke Okada was an actor-producer. He debuted as an actor in the film “Take Care, Red Riding Hood.”
Okada was the honorary chairman of the Japan Academy & the Motion Pictures Productions Association of Japan.
