Riding on the hot nostalgia trip of Inuyasha, the 2nd season of the sequel Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is officially confirmed to debut this year.
The trailer also glimpsed at the upcoming story, specifically the reincarnation of Sesshōmaru’s daughter Setsuna, who fell to Kirinmaru’s blade in the last season.
The video also features Rion, one of Kirinmaru’s daughters. She will be voiced by Saki Fujita, known for voicing Ymir in Attack on Titan.
The first season saw our trio of siblings Setsuna, Towa, and Moroha fighting Kirinmaru, the series’s antagonist bent on distorting time and space.
Though season two looks quite promising, only time will tell if it lives up to Inuyasha’s classic vibes or paves a path of its own.
