S-1 to have a Half-Year Run

Vintage anime Urusei Yatsura’s reboot announcement ignited a fiery wave of excitement among its fans.
Urusei Yatsura anime’s first season will have a half-year run with two consecutive cours and no breaks starting October 2022.
Season 1 will be more comedy and less romance as it will feature Lum’s arrival on Earth and her encounter with Ataru.
They also revealed a new character, Ran, for the upcoming anime. Ran is another alien of an unknown race and Lum’s childhood friend and rival.
Ran’s character will be a cherry on top because of her and Lum’s rivalry. Not to mention, Ran tries to poison Ataru on multiple occasions, which is just way too hilarious.
October seems so far away. I might just go and binge the original series to pass the time, and I suggest the same to you guys.
