Sword Art Online might be a part of the most hated anime list, but the show still has a fanbase that keeps it running and producing more installments.
The upcoming anime film Sword Art Online -Progressive- retells the initial events from Asuna Yuuki’s perspective.
The Sword Art Online -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night anime film will have a theatrical release in Japan on October 30, 2021, and will open in over 40 countries and territories.
The screening will be in December, with Funimation premiering it in standard and IMAX theatres in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in December.
The franchise also revealed a 15-second clip titled for the film that gives us a glimpse into the ruthless and horrific world of the Sword Art Online game.
I am excited to see what the film has in store with this new perspective.
