Battle Spaceship Yamato is one of the pioneers in the field of spacecraft battles & outer-space plots. Its emergence led to the rise in space sci-fi.
The official website of Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202 has just released a new teaser for the upcoming film, & will release on Jan 15th in Japan.
Although it's a short teaser, it shows events from the history of Yamato. These events are new & haven't been portrayed in the previous anime.
Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 & 2202 will be compiled to release the new film. It will premiere in 36 selected theatres for a limited time.
Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202 will release its BluRay & DVDs on its theatrical premiere. Harutoshi will do a special narration for the film.
