The news portal Variety reported that a new live-action Pokemon series, the showrunner of Lucifer, is in early production at Netflix.
Sources say that the new series will be akin to Detective Pikachu, which meshed the CG Pokemon with real people.
Netflix has been heavily invested with the Pokemon franchise and hosts most of the Pokemon anime and film series on its platform.
