Gaming Console Delayed By 2 Months
By Epic Dope Staff | November 11, 2021
When Valve unveiled their Steam Deck console back in July, it was slated to be the next big thing in the gaming industry.
Valve has announced that their portable PC gaming console, Steam Deck, is being delayed until February 2022.
Even though the launch is delayed, the shipping will be carried out according to the existing reservation queue.
Valve is being hit with the same material shortages that are preventing gamers around the world from getting their hands on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series & Nvidia’s 30 series graphic cards.
The console’s design is very reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch and features a similar set of buttons with different placements and a touchscreen.
Although it is marketed as a gaming console, it really is a portable PC, which could potentially run other games aside from the ones offered by Steam.
Go ahead and reserve yours for five dollars right now if you want to see it in your hands before the next summer.
