Yumeko Jabami might have won your heart with her insane gambling skills, but her very first opponent, Mari Saotome, also deserves some love and attention.

The Kakegurui Twins spin-off manga will receive an anime adaptation in August 2022 on Netflix.

None other than MAPPA will be animating the spin-off, so rest assured, it will take mere seconds before you are hopelessly hooked onto the anime.

The second person in the visual is Tsuzura Hanatamari, who helps save Mary when she is on the verge of becoming a housepet.

Kakegurui Twin has also inspired an eight-episode live-action series that premiered in March 2021. The manga is licensed by Yen Press in English.

A lot will happen in the single year before Yumeko’s admission and I can’t wait to see Mary’s progress from a newbie to a complete queen.
