If you haven’t grown up while reading and watching Naruto, then the picture of him being helpless must grate your bones. Yet, our hero suddenly looks stuck.

In the latest battle against Code, Shikamaru was captured by him. Code threatened to kill him if Naruto tried anything cheeky. With Shikamaru’s life on the line, Naruto’s hands are tied.

While we see Boruto and Kawaki getting power-ups every now and then, Naruto has been left behind in the race.

Ever since he lost Kurama, Naruto’s strength has been significantly affected. Even if he has tons of other powers, he can never match up to his previous might.

After Naruto faced a dilemma regarding Shikamaru, it was Kawaki who saved both of them from Code and Momoshiki.

I hate to see a favorite character getting nerfed like this, so I hope he shows his true potential once again in the series.
