Jujutsu Kaisen

During the Shibuya incident arc, Mahito had consumed the energies of a lot of humans and was able to make a clone of himself.
While the real Mahito fought Yuuji in the underground station, the clone was going berserk above ground and was found by Kugisaki.
In the battle between Kugisaki and the clone, Kugisaki succeeded in weakening both the clone as well as the real Mahito through Resonance.
In chapter 124, Mahito’s clone tries to run away and sets a trap for Kugisaki. He changes places with Mahito and Kugisaki failed to notice it.
Mahito has the power to reshape souls by touching them. As soon as his hands touch Kugisaki, the scene changes to a flashback of Kugisaki’s childhood years.
As all experienced manga readers know, flashbacks typically foreshadow either a new power or death. We hope that the flashback reveals a latent power.
However, if Kugisaki is killed, Yuuji might lose his calm and Mahito will get an upper hand. The next chapter will reveal the fate of Kugisaki and Yuuji.
