Manga Plus organized an interview where the mangakas behind Hell's Paradise Jigokuraku and Chainsaw Man dissect each other's manga.
Tatsuki Fujimoto, mangaka of Chainsaw Man talked about how Kaku sensei has kept Jigokuraku's idea pretty much the same since their discussion about it.
Tatsuki sensei appreciated Kaku sensei's art and found similarities between him and his character Gabimaru. He added that his favourite character is Sagiri.
Kaku sensei appreciates how the violent and messy essence of Chainsaw Man can be captured from Tatsuki's art style itself. He compared Denji to Tatsuki.
Kaku sensei expressed that both of them are interested in different yet realistic scenarios. He found Chainsaw Man unique and relatable as well.
Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is written by Yuji Kaku and Chainsaw Man is by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Both the series began serialization in 2018.
