Police in a Pod, despite being a cop story, has taken the responsibility of showing the naked truth of the police department.

A special cast members’ event was held where the first episode was pre-screened before the official debut. A small cut of episode one has been revealed.

The scene shows Mai Kawai and her reason for joining the police department. She thinks back that she belongs to a low-income family and had to take civil service exams.

A new visual has also been revealed where we see the main characters of the anime, Mai Kawai and Seiko Fuji.

Although the anime seems depressing at first, Mai will face a turnaround soon as a new female director of her station is introduced.

This beautiful woman is not only a kind person but also a sharp-eyed shrew whose experience doesn’t let anything fly past her.

Hopefully, she will help Mai see the positive elements in a job to which she doesn’t find a sense of belonging.
