Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket is a refreshing escape from the Newtype riddled history of the original Gundam.
A new manga based on Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket OVA will start serialization from 26th June.
The manga will be by Hiroyuki Tamakoshi.
He has previously worked on the Kido Senshi Gundam UC: Shishi no Kikan manga that ended in 2020.
In the manga, the fates of Chris, Bernie, and Al will be entangled forever.
It came out in 1989 with 6 episodes. The emotionally-charged side of the OVA was liked by many fans.
