Most Volumes Published For A Single Manga Series

Only a few manga series manage to stand the test of time, but even fewer come close to Golgo 13.
Golgo 13 manga by Takao Saito has broken the Guinness World record for “The most volumes published for a single manga series.
The series surpassed the previous record-holder Osamu Akito’s Kochikame, which had reached the 200th volume mark back in 2016.
Golgo 13 had also announced a spinoff series which will release on 16th July 2021 in Big Comic Zoukan.
With only a handful of manga on the tail, Golgo 13 is likely to hold this record for a long time even if it decides to stop anytime soon.
