Nacht trains Asta in the Devil Binding Ritual wherein a magic knight seals a contract with the devil to command its powers as his own.
Nacht summons the Anti-Magic devil who appears in front of Asta, sneering at him. The secret to commanding the devil’s power is to fight and conquer it.
Since Asta’s demon is incredibly powerful and they have two days worth of time, he just might be able to conquer the devil to command its powers.
Interestingly, the devil looks similar to Asta. Mangaka Tabata sensei might be alluding to the 'conquering your inner devil' concept.
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
