Act-Age Mangaka Suspended Sentence

Tatsuya Matsuki, the creator of the Act-Age series was arrested on the grounds of sexual assault in August 2020.
The Act-Age manga was canceled by Weekly Shonen Jump very quickly after the incident. Manga fans have shown their full support for the victim.
Tatsuya Matsuki was charged as guilty of molestation of a female middle school student by the Tokyo District Court.
A sentence of one and a half years has been pronounced on him. If Matsuki remains on good behavior for 3 years then he won't serve prison.
Shiro Usazaki tweeted about the arrest, showing support towards the victim, & condemning what had happened.
All chapters of Act-Age have already been removed from Viz Media and the upcoming live-action was canceled.
