What could be better for an employee other than to build long-lasting relationships in his workplace? However, a romantic relationship is bound to make things awkward, particularly when neither of the two has confessed it.
‘Story of a Small Senior in My Company’ talks about a romantic situation between an employee and his female senior. While the senior behaves in an ‘older-sister-like’ manner, the employee wonders if she is doing it out of duty or if there is more to it. Anyway, it recovers him and motivates him every day.
On Friday, the official website for the ‘Story of a Small Senior in My Company’ anime revealed a new trailer. The video introduces the opening song, more cast and staff members, and the release date of July 1.
In the trailer, the senior colleague Shiori Katase pats her subordinate, Takuma Shinozaki. Although Shinozaki feels embarrassed by her caring behavior, he likes her company. Shiori also seems to prefer being around him. Three new characters – Chihiro Akina, Chinatsu Hayakawa, and Yutaka Shinozaki are revealed.
Tōya Kobayashi performed the opening song “Honey” in the background. The ending song was also revealed to be “sugar” by YU-KA.

‘Story of a Small Senior in My Company’ is a workplace romcom manga created by Saisō. It is currently ongoing since April 2020 on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website.

It looks like a light-hearted workplace anime, and the characters do have a cool and casual ring to them. The main character Shiori does not look or talk like a senior, but it shows when she goes out of her way to make Shinozaki feel happy.
About Story of a Small Senior in My Company
Story of a Small Senior in My Company (Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi) is a romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Saisō. It began serialization in Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website in April 2020 and is collected into six volumes as of 2023.
The story follows a new employee, Takuma Shinozaki, and his overly caring and small-sized senpai, Shiori Katase. Despite Shiori caring for all her subordinates equally, she gives special attention to Takuma which often exposes her feelings towards him.
