One decade after nearly all of the Justice Society of America (JSA) were killed in a battle against the Injustice Society of America (ISA), high school student Courtney Whitmore discovers the Cosmic Staff of Starman and, upon learning that her stepfather Pat Dugan used to be Starman’s sidekick, becomes the inspiration for a whole new generation of superheroes.
The Stargirl season 2 premiere poses a big question: How does a teen hero come to terms with life as a normal teenager after putting on the suit? Courtney (Brec Bassinger) is dealing with just that as we join her back in Blue Valley, Nebraska.
Stargirl Episode 2 Speculations
‘Summer School: Chapter Two’ is the second episode of ‘Stargirl’ season 2. It will see Courtney continuing her duties as Stargirl and probing the town for villains. Cindy is likely to start her recruitment, and Artemis could be her first target.
Cindy also has Mike listed as one of the potential recruits, and it will be interesting to see how she pursues him to join her. We could also see more of Eclipso using Cindy to meet his own ends.
The new episode could also reveal more about the history and motivations of Green Lantern’s daughter. Furthermore, Richard Swift/The Shade, a former member of the ISA, is likely to appear.
