Starfield and Redfall Release Pushed To Early 2023

Fans have been waiting for Starfield ever since its announcement. It will be the first IP by Bethesda Game Studios after over 25 years. While the studio has been preoccupied with the successful runs of Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, the developers have been simultaneously working on the exciting upcoming releases of Starfield and Redfall.

Unfortunately, we might have to wait a bit longer.

Bethesda announced that Starfield has been further delayed and is expected to launch sometime in early 2023.

The official announcement on Twitter explained that the developers at Bethesda Game Studios are determined to bring out the finest game for players everywhere, even if it comes at the cost of an extended waiting period.

The post also announced the release of the Arkane Austin game Redfall will be pushed to the first half of 2023.

Even though there is very little information regarding Starfield, it is confirmed that the game will be using the Creation Engine technology for graphics rendering, animation, pathing, and procedural generation. It will feature some of the best RPG elements, character customization, and mod support in terms of quality.

The game is set in the year 2310 and focuses on a Constellation member protagonist, an organization consisting of space explorers. The plot contains over 150K dialogues and will be an intense plot-driven RPG.

The first few months of 2023 look busy as several titles such as the Dead Space remake, Resident Evil 4 remake, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel, etc., have queued up for release.
