The Jedi Could Have Saved Qui-Gon Jinn According to Star Wars

The animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi has highlighted a major reveal where viewers learn that the Jedi could have prevented the death of one of their Jedi masters, Qui-Gon Jinn.

Qui-Gon Jinn was one of the most loved and favored Jedi masters of the old Order in Star Wars. His connection with the force was stronger than his urge to follow the Jedi Code. But the character didn’t have enough time to shine on screen as he was killed by the end of the 1999 film, The Phantom of Menace.

Episode 4 of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi follows the prequel era of the Star Wars franchise and highlights how the skeptical attitude of the Order cost the life of Qui-Gon Jinn. When the Jedi master was attacked by a dark side attacker, who he believed to be a Sith Lord, Qui-Gon immediately took his suspicions to the Order.

However, the Order was skeptical of his words and speculations. This caused them to be complacent and this was a major reason for the Jinn’s death.

In reality this was exactly what Sith had hoped for. He was waiting for the Jedis to grow complacent and casual so that he could move among the shadows unnoticed.

The Jedis also turned a blind eye towards the rising corruption and changing politics which gave Palpatine and his Sith forces a chance to gain strength and leverage.

Had the order been more vigilant and trusting, Qui-Gon Jinn could have survived, and the order may have flourished under his watchful eye.

Do you think Qui-Gon Jinn’s death could have been avoided had the Jedi order been a little more receptive to his warnings?
