Ahsoka has been one of the best spin-off series in the Star Wars universe, and season 1 will air its finale next week! The show follows the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy while also reconnecting with old friends and allies from Star Wars Rebels.
Along the way, she has encountered new enemies, such as the lethal Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and the mysterious Dark Jedi Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson), as well as familiar faces, such as C-3PO, Hera Syndulla, and even Anakin Skywalker.
So, what will happen in the final episode of Ahsoka? Here are some of the most plausible and intriguing fan theories and predictions for Ahsoka episode 8.
1. Episode 7 Synopsis/Speculation
In next week’s finale, Ahsoka will face Thrawn in the ultimate showdown. Thrawn has been the series’ main antagonist, orchestrating a plot to revive the Empire and unleash a dark power from Peridea, the ancient homeworld of the Nightsisters.
Ahsoka has been on his trail since episode 1, and their paths finally cross in episode 7, where Thrawn reveals that he knows Ahsoka is Anakin’s apprentice. The finale will likely feature a climactic confrontation between the two, where Ahsoka must use all her skills and wit to outsmart and defeat Thrawn. However, Thrawn may have a secret weapon up his sleeve, such as a hidden fleet or a powerful ally.
Who will come out victorious? Or will season 1 end in the biggest cliffhanger of all time?
The finale might be the time Ashoka understands her fate and destiny completely. Throughout the series, Ahsoka has been guided by visions and voices from the Force, such as Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), Yoda (Frank Oz), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), and Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson). These visions have helped her gain clarity throughout her perilous mission. The finale may finally reveal why the Force chose her as a guardian of balance and peace and give us more information about Peridea’s history and the mystery of the World Between Worlds!
Another interesting speculation is that Ahsoka might set up The Mandalorian season 4. Since Ahsoka is a spin-off of The Mandalorian, the finale may tease The Mandalorian season 4.
For example, Ahsoka may encounter Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), seeking to reclaim Mandalore from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) and his dark troopers. Ahsoka may also cross paths with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), who is looking for a Jedi to train Grogu, the Child. Speculating Mandalorian season 4’s plot will be fascinating after we’ve been treated to Ahsoka’s finale!
Finally, Ahsoka may end with a cliffhanger, leaving fans wanting more and setting up a second season. The cliffhanger could be anything from a shocking revelation, a major character death, a new enemy, or a twist in the Force.
