Spy×Family, the ultimate combo of action and slice of life, has finally confirmed its anime adaptation.
A master spy, a pro assassin, and a psychic child form a family that goes beyond the ordinary. What will a seasoned spy do when he has to adopt a child to hide his identity? Be the most badass dad ever, that’s what happens.
Studio CloverWorks and Wit Studio are collaborating to produce the Spy×Family manga, which will be released in 2022. Of course, a new trailer has also been revealed to give you a taste of this incredible series.
The trailer introduces Twilight, the protagonist of the story who is a top-spy. You can see him in disguises, fighting baddies, and making cool exits. So when a top-secret mission is assigned to the guy, no one expects it to be “Create a family within a week.”
Now starts the journey of Twilight’s transformation from a lone wolf to a loving mama bear. That last shot in the trailer where he is carrying groceries and Anya is just adorable.
A new visual has also been unveiled for fans:
Along with Twilight, the visual shows Yor, his not-so-make-believe wife, and Anya, their adopted daughter.
Takuya Eguchi will play Loid Forger or Twilight. He has previously voiced Hachiman Hikigaya from Oregairu.
The main staff members of the anime have also been revealed:
Position | Staff | Other Works |
Director | Kazuhiro Furuhashi | Rurouni Kenshin |
Character Design | Kazuaki Shimada | The Promised Neverland |
Music Producer | [K]NoW_NAME | Dorohedoro |
World peace is now entrusted to a family of misfits who can murder in the blink of an eye but stagger to resist Anya’s pout. The upcoming anime will have uwu family moments coupled with mind-blowing action scenes, and I’m all here for it.
