Saturdays are going to look a lot less ‘waku waku’ now that Spy x Family has wrapped up its first cour.
By adapting one of the bonus chapters of the manga, the anime ended its first part as the Forger family goes to the aquarium for the weekend. Before you think it was a regular family outing, I’m sorry to break your bubble.
After an exciting episode full of action, humor, and wholesomeness, Spy x Family anime has revealed a teaser previewing its part 2 coming out in October.
Episode 11 teased fans by introducing a new addition to the family: a pet dog! However, it’s the Forgers we’re talking about, so the dog will obviously be far from ordinary.
But a Twilight mission is incomplete unless Anya butts in to save her father from doom with the help of her oblivious mother Yor. Although this time, she’ll have assistance from a dog that can see the future. Sounds like a formidable team, right?
The teaser previews the Doggy Crisis arc of the manga, where a group of terrorists from the Berlint University attempt to assassinate a Westalian minister and start a war between Westalis and Ostania. As expected, Loid is put in charge of stopping this.
From the looks of it, there is a good chance that someone’s identity might get revealed amid the chaos and action, but they’re also pretty good at keeping the truth hidden. So do you think something monumental like that might happen as the season ends?
Episode 13 will pack some serious combat and action. As the teaser suggests, it will be unlike any other mission you’ve witnessed before.
Also, after seeing the teaser and episode 12, I am convinced that Anya will thrive as a spy.
