Anya has finally successfully made it into Eden College. After a ridiculously long amount of waiting and hoping, the first phase of Twilight’s Operation Strix has been successfully cleared.
Such an occasion calls for a celebration of equal weight and precious little Anya makes sure we get exactly that in the fifth episode.
Episode 6 Speculations
The fifth episode was a rather light-hearted episode with nearly zero mainline implications to the overarching plot, apart from the massive revelation that Anya made it into Eden College, the very reason for the celebration to take place.
The next episode will begin the next phase of the operation and will be our first glimpse at Anya’s school life as she will try to fit in, make friends and try to be the exemplary student that Loid wants her to be for the operation to succeed.
The preview for the next episode also tells us that we will finally get to see the smug Anya meme in the show (hype!!).

Episode 5 Recap
The entirety of the fifth episode is one massively elaborate and not to mention expensive, government-funded amusement park trip as congratulations for getting into the Eden College.
It is one ridiculous episode that begins with a tense Forger family making it to the venue of the results and looking at the board crestfallen as Anya had failed to make the first cut.
Mortified and defeated, the entire family starts returning but is stopped by master Henderson who tells them that Anya is number one on the waiting list and if even one student withdraws their name, then Anya will definitely get in.
He reassures them that every year there are quite a few of those who do so and that their elegance is so well suited for the school that Anya will get in for sure.
So, the Forgers wait in hope and after a whopping 33 days, Loid gets a call stating that Anya has been accepted.
Loid’s informant and friend, Franky gets the news at the very same time as he is at their door merely seconds later with a bottle of wine and some food on the way to celebrate the moment.
A drunk Franky suggests that now that Anya has crossed the first hurdle, Loid should reward her and Anya takes it quite seriously as her idea of a reward is enacting an entire episode of her favorite show, Bondman where a princess gets captured and Bondman rescues her from a castle which very conveniently happens to be nearby and up for rent.
Loid is forced to use his connections to rent out the castle, call all the agents in Ostania for roleplay, and roleplay himself as the legendary bondman rescuing the poor princess in peril, Anya, captured by the evil Count Scruffy Head who giggles like a One Piece character.
The rest of the episode is a visual feast as Loid embarrassingly manifests Loidman and chases the Count through the castle facing numerous obstacles, all to save the princess.
The chase has some of the best action choreography in the couple of minutes that we see Loid in action than almost all of the shows this season, an obvious flex by Studio Wit.
Loid slides, bounces, fights, and ziplines through explosions his way to the princess but the final boss he faces is none other than a very drunk Yor who catches Loid off guard with her killing intent and physicality but soon breaks one of her heels and slumps off to sleep.
The evil Count is punched to sleep and the princess is saved thus ending the episode with a sweet moment between Loid and Anya where the two of them are sitting outside, atop the castle looking at the sky and Anya promises him that she would do her very best at school, Loid congratulates her and hugs her.
Only the next episode will tell if Anya’s best is enough to ensure the success of Loid’s mission.
