It was a hilarious episode. George misunderstands the conversation between his father and his assistant and thinks he will leave the school. Everyone sympathizes with him, but at the end of the day, it was all just some childish confusion, embarrassing Geroge.

We get to see Yor’s God-level physical abilities when she takes the responsibility of taking the P.E. uniform of Anya to school. However, all her hard work was in vain, as Anya didn’t need it.

Looks like the next episode will be high on suspense and thrill. Loid will investigate the general hospital for some reason, and it seems like every family member has an important part in the next episode.

Things will spice up a little bit because Frost Fiona will show up. She is Loid’s ultimate lover, and it will be hilarious when she comes face to face with Loid’s family.

Episode 19 Recap

The CEO of Glooman Pharmaceutical and his assistant discuss the closing down of the company in less than a month thanks to the Desmond family. His son overhears their conversation.

Anya’s class is sweeping the school lawn. George Glooman approaches Damian. Anya reads his mind and comes to know that he was the one who sent a spy the other day who fought with Loid.

She asks Becky about him. George plans to suspend Damian, and Anya is shocked to hear that. George takes out a cigarette butt and blames Damian for throwing it. He then stumbles and falls down and blames that on Damian as well.

Anya comes up to save Damian and tells the teacher that George fell down himself. Thus ruining George’s plan. Later, George tells everyone the whole story about his family going bankrupt.

He starts manipulating everyone saying that it is his last day at school. Damian offers him juice and also treats him with expensive coffee. Other students join them, and together they sing the choir song.

Everyone hands over some gift to George as a parting gift. He is overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness. At home, he comes to know that they are not going bankrupt, and he will continue going to school as usual. Thus he is embarrassed to death, and everyone loses their trust in him.

Anya overslept and got late for school. After Anya and Loid leave, Yor enters Anya’s room and finds out that Anya has forgotten to take her P.E. uniform. She fears that Anya will get expelled for not forgetting her uniform.

She rushes out of the house but can’t decide whether to take the bus or tram, so she decides to use her physical strength and reach the school. Inside the school, she is unable to find Anya or her classroom.

After a while, she finally meets Anya, who tells her that there is no P.E. class that day, so she won’t need the uniform. Yor is heartbroken. While heading home, Loid meets up with her and cheers her up, and they go to a restaurant for lunch together.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.

Season 2 and a theatrical film are releasing in 2023.
