‘Spy x Family: Code White’ Set to Hit U.S Theatres With New Culinary Adventure

‘SPY×FAMILY Code: White’ is immensely successful, and the audience is desperately waiting for its theatrical release outside Japan. Now, the studio has announced the release date.

Crunchyroll announced they will begin screening the ‘SPY×FAMILY Code: White anime film in North America on April 19, 2024.

The anime will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub. The movie focuses on Loid’s effort to impress the principal by making his favorite meal to avoid being replaced in Operation Strix.

The Forgers decide to travel to the meal’s origin region, where they set off a chain of actions that could potentially put world peace at risk. How they deal with this dangerous situation forms the crux of the story.

The movie opened in Japan on December 22 and has sold a total of 4.23 million tickets for a cumulative total of 5,698,463,520 yen (about US$38.35 million) as of 5 February 2024.

The movie is an original and was liked by the Japanese audience. We cannot wait for the anime to hit the US theatres and enjoy the adventures of the chaotic Forger family.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.

Season 2 and a theatrical film are releasing in 2023.
