Loid stops Fiona from killing Wheeler as they complete their mission in Mission 86 of Spy x Family.
The tough mission finally came to an end. Fiona, Loid, and the other agents head back safely with Wheeler. Loid goes back home utterly tired and finds some solace with Yor.
She apologized for her behavior in the morning and told him that he could rely on her on days which are too much for him. They share some wholesome moments together, but Loid also pondered on the question that he might have started losing his edge.

3. Chapter 87 Speculations
Yuri might start investigating Loid’s background out of suspicion in Mission 87 of Spy x Family.
The mission is over for now, and we will move ahead to another mission. However, in the midst of all that, Loid gave Yuri a chance to get suspicious of him, and things might become difficult for our guy.
We don’t yet know what the story or plot of the next chapter might be, but it will most probably be about Anya. She hasn’t been in focus for quite some time, and I think she will get back to being the main character.
4. Chapter 86 Recap
Fiona throws Wheeler to the wall with a punch. She moves ahead to kill him, but Loid stops her. He is back on his feet. They tie up Wheeler. Fiona starts worrying whether Loid heard all her banter.
However, Loid doesn’t have any idea. She asks him about the wound on his arm, he tells her Yuri gave it to him and that he was unable to kill him because that might sabotage operation Strix as Yuri is everything to Yor.
As they are about to move, Gascoigne appears before them. Turns out it is their fellow Wise agent. They move ahead. Fiona gets excited and restless because Loid carries her on his shoulder.
The agents discuss the success of their mission. Loid decides to head home fast, as his long absence might cause suspicion. He thinks Yor will banter with him again, but she gives him a normal and warm welcome.
He is too tired from the mission. Yor apologizes for what happened in the morning and tells him that she can handle the house chores by herself for the next few days.
She tells him that there is no need for him to be perfect all the time and that he can rely on her at times. He is reminded of his recent weakness and how he needs to be perfect in order to survive his world.
Suddenly, Yuri barges in to tell Yor something. Loid goes to make some tea for him. Seeing his right-hand twitch, Yuri gets suspicious (as he shot Twilight in the right hand earlier). He rushes to check his hand, only to find it completely normal.
Yor sends Yuri away and tells Loid to take a bath. In the shower, Loid peels off the layer of skin he used to cover his arm. He is frustrated by his mistakes and thinks of pulling himself together.
When he comes out, he smells something burning. Turns out that Yor burned his shirt while ironing it. He falls unconscious, thinking it is just a hopeless case.
5. About Spy × Family
Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
Season 2 and a theatrical film are releasing in 2023.
