There is a shootout going on between some men in a narrow alley. One of the men kills everyone else. He is Winston Wheeler, a spy in Westalis Intelligence Communications Division.

He has been a deep cover operative from Ostania who has repeatedly passed Western secrets to the East. Loid asks his senior how they are supposed to catch him. 

They have got intel that he has crossed the border and will be meeting SSS at a hotel in Shellburry. They will have to do whatever they can to stop him from handing the files to the enemy. 

Fiona thinks they should put all their other missions, including Operation Strix, on hold for now and start fresh later, as this is a very risky job. Loid doesn’t agree with that at all. 

They enter the SSS territory. In northwest Ostania, Yuri, along with his boss, is heading for the destination. They don’t want anything to go out of their hand, which is why they are keeping complete deniability about the mission. 

They also think that they might have the chance to catch Twilight in the process if the Wise was to interfere. Loid’s senior lays out the plan and tells him to halt the SSS from meeting Wheeler no matter what. 

Wheeler gets a call, and after talking for a while, he goes out to look for someone. After that, he steps out of his house and goes to a bookshop where Yuri is standing. 

He asks Yuri if he is a new recruit. Yuri checks if it is really Wheeler. It is him only. Wheeler tells Yuri that their assigned hotel has some serious rat problem, so they will have to meet him at a park in thirty minutes.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
