Spy x Family does not follow a particular story pattern; however, it revolves around a few central aspects. Let’s point out the topics that could be touched on in the next chapter.

• We could see more of Yor Forger as she struggles with her gruesome job of assassination and the delicate role of a fake(?) mother.

The chapter covers the first interaction between Loid Forger and Donovan Damian. Loid’s primary mission is to establish a relationship with Donovan so that he may figure out Donovan’s plans for the war between the East and the West.

The chapter starts by Loid introducing himself to Donovan and apologizing for Anya’s rude behavior of hitting Damian a few chapters ago. He continues to make small talk to figure out anything about Donovan to help him in his mission.

As expected, Donovan is a very meticulous man and does not give anything away. Donovan does not even let Loid visit his house for a formal apology on Anya’s behalf. He succeeds in establishing a first-name-basis relationship with Donovan by making small talk about how hard it is to be a parent.

The chapter ends with Donovan saying one encouraging word to Damian and Loid getting home to Anya talking gibberish in her sleep!
