Spy x Family Chapter 33, titled “Mission 33,” is set to release on Sunday, September 20. The next chapter will continue showing us the mission that Twilight & Nightfall have undertaken.
Spy x Family follows a bimonthly schedule and releases every second Sunday in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

No, Spy x Family manga is not on a break or hiatus. We expect the manga to be released as per its bimonthly schedule.
3. Chapter 33 Speculations
Chapter 33 will most likely continue showing us the mission to obtain “The Lady in the Sun” from the art collection of Cavi Campbell.
It will be interesting to see how the duo of Twilight & Nightfall fare against the Campbell siblings.
That being said, Spy x Family does not follow a particular story pattern; however, it revolves around a few central aspects. Let’s point out the topics that could be touched in the next chapter.
- We could see more of Yor Forger as she struggles with her gruesome job of assassination and the delicate role of a fake mother.
- Mission 33 could very well be another mission for our little spy/telepath, Anya Forger. She might try to get close to Damian and earn Stella stars.

The chapter starts with a brief scene showing Anya & Yor playing in a park while Yor worries about the nature of the relationship between Twilight and Midnight.
We then go back to the tournament arena where the Bolic Brothers are making their way to the court with a deadly aura surrounding them. Midnight mentions that this tournament allows all sorts of unfair tactics to win and that the Bolic Brothers using steroids is something they have to face.
Impressed by the Bolic Brothers’ muscles, everyone starts placing their bets on them. Before the match begins, the Bolic Brothers make a huge mistake.
They attempt to trash-talk Twilight, which infuriates Midnight beyond belief. The next thing we see is their broken and bruised body laying on the tennis court, not from punches, but from the aggressive playstyle used by Midnight.
Midnight & Twilight advance to the next round and win their way to the finals.
In the finals, they face off against Campbell’s own son and daughter. As they discuss things in the lounge, they notice a colorless and odorless gas spreading throughout the room.
To keep their cover as a normal husband wife couple, they take no actions against it and just try to hold their breath till the match begins.
As the finals begin, we see everyone place their bets on Midnight & Twilight due to their impressive performance earlier.
Using a rocket propelled racket (and due to Twilight & Midnight being intoxicated), the Campbell siblings win the first round. Midnight & Twilight regain control of their bodies as the toxin wears away, and they win 3 rounds in a row.
They lose the fourth round due to Cambell interfering with the leveling of the court to give his children an advantage. The chapter ends as the final round begins!

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
