The first episode of Spy Classroom has set up an exciting base as we watch seven girls from low academic backgrounds begin their training with Klaus, their teacher, who is deemed the greatest spy in the world. Although he would soon receive that title, he isn’t that great of a teacher.
Lily, who I thought would be the group’s underdog, has been named as the commander of their spy team as they ready themselves to undergo an Impossible Mission. Here are the latest updates.
Episode 2 Speculation
Episode 1 ended with Klaus challenging the girls to defeat him in a game of espionage, and we will see how that goes in the next episode. In episode 2, we will learn more about the girls’ skills and abilities and if they can defeat Klaus.
Lily has been named as the group’s leader, and we will see her manage her new position and also see the group get to know each other better and learn to work as a team.

Episode 1 Recap
Ten years after the disastrous Great War, the world’s governments decided to settle their disputes through espionage rather than open battle. Master snoop Klaus is assigned an “Impossible Mission” in the Din Republic, and if he succeeds, it will solidify his status as the “Greatest Spy in the World.”
Klaus assembles a team known as Lamplight out of seven struggling young espionage cadets for this operation, including a girl named Lily. He claims that he will aid in their training as they prepare for an impossible mission in the Galgad Empire, but despite his skill as a spy, he is a terrible teacher.
Lily ambushes Klaus with poison gas to persuade him to dissolve Lamplight, believing that he wants to use them as pawns in a game of sacrifice. Klaus admits that he was already aware of Lily’s ambush.
Still, he is nevertheless inspired by how she took the initiative to attempt to make things better for herself, which provides him with ideas for instructing the other kids.
The following day, Klaus names Lily as the team’s commander and promises he won’t allow them to die. Klaus asks the pupils to beat him in an espionage game to teach them the required skills.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
Season 2 and a theatrical film are releasing in 2023.
