Split Shot, Online Free Play and Much More – Rocket League Season 17

Rocket League has a brand-new season update! Season 17 brings in a colorful spectacle like no other. There are exciting, limited time events and new gameplay modes. Most importantly, there are plenty of fun rewards up for grabs, including snazzy hot wheels!

Season 17 Brings Online Free Play as Rocket League Heads to the Arcades

The time to butt heads (read wheels) with your friends is here! Indulge in high-octane, fully customizable matches with your party.

You can create your own Online Free-to-Play Session from the main menu, post-match screen or while searching for a game. 

These matches can be customized according to your preferences. All offline Free Play Arenas can be used. You can even access game modes such as the Soccar, Hoops, Snow Day and Dropshot.

Neo Tokyo Arena

This cyberpunk-themed Arena is a fun play on the classic Rocket League Arena. Its neon lights match the fast-spaced, high-intensity matches one usually experiences in Rocket League.

The Split Shot is here to spice up the usual 3v3 format in Rocket League. Each team will be assigned to one half of the field. You gotta get in long-range shots to score a goal.

You can play Split Shot in the following arenas:

  • Neo Tokyo (Arcade)
  • DFH Stadium (Snowy)
  • Mannfield (Snowy)
  • Beckwith Park (Snowy)
  • Utopia Coliseum (Snowy)

Anyone who logs in during Season 17 (Dec 4 – Mar 5) will receive the Icebreak Banner. You can also tune in to the shop to claim the free Player Anthem and Season 17 theme song, Tokyo Machine’s PLAY Player Anthem.

Season 17’s Tournament Rewards are also pretty fancy. Master the Arena and stand a chance to win the Chummy Wheels, Wing Wraith Boost and Wing Wraith Trail, and the King Fang Decal.
