Split Fiction has split-screen. However, as seen in It Takes Two, there are certain sections in the game where one player will take over, thus making way for a full-screen view.
Split Fiction is very much like It Takes Two. So, you don’t need to be too wary of new features or such.
Does Split Fiction support Crossplay?
Split Fiction supports crossplay between PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
You just need to be logged in to your EA account. You can join a friend or invite them using the EA Friends List.
Make sure to turn on crossplay before sending out invites.
What is Friends Pass in Split Fiction?
Friends pass in Split Fiction is a returning feature from It Takes Two. You can still play the game if either you or your friend own it. Both the players need not buy the game.
How to use Friends Pass in Split Fiction?
If you own Split Fiction and your friend does not, ask your friend to download the Friends Pass app. Next, send an invite to your friend via their EA account. You can start playing after they join the party.
Where can you play Split Fiction?

As of this moment, Split Fiction is only available on PC and current-gen consoles. You cannot play Split Fiction on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch. Split Fiction is also not accessible via EA Play or Xbox Game Pass.
Although you can purchase Split Fiction from the Xbox store, there are no plans to add it under their Xbox subscription service. Similarly, while It Takes Two is available on EA Play, the same cannot be said for Split Fiction.
It is highly unlikely that the developers will add Split Fiction to more platforms. However, one can only hope!
