Ubel realizes that the Land she saw was fake, and her guess is confirmed when he saves her from her replica. Ubel manipulated Land into saving her because she knew he didn’t want anyone to die because of him.
Meanwhile, Frieren finds a hidden room and manages to open a pathway. The trio enters another secret room filled with murals and are star-struck. On their way back, they run into Denken’s team, who reveals that the bottom level should be beyond the hall they are waiting outside.
Seeing her perfect replica finally gets Frieren excited. Methode hugs Frieren to assess her weaknesses and realizes that neither restraining nor hypnosis would work on her. Another group is against Sense’s perfect replica, but despite being fully defensive, they cannot beat it.
A perfect replica has no mind, so hypnosis would not work. Wirbel has perfectly assigned replicas to Scharf and Ehre, and they can take down the replicas they are against. Meanwhile, Frieren thinks they will have to use brute force against her replica, but she’s unsure if she can handle that.
However, Fern is confident in her ability to kill Frieren. Frieren takes her word for it and starts thinking about a strategy.
